Chevrolet Earns Nine Edmunds.com Awards

Chevrolet Earns Nine Edmunds.com Awards

BAY CITY, Mich. – There's no question that Chevrolet is giving consumers exactly what they want, and the brand's NINE most recent Edmunds.com awards prove that point! This past month, Edmunds.com recognized seven Chevy vehicles with nine awards as the Most Popular and Top Rated vehicles in their segments for 2014!

It just goes to show that this is the best lineup in the brand's history and consumers are enjoying the expressive designs, easy to use technologies, safety and performance that the current lineup offers. The best of the best include the Corvette Stingray and Chevy Traverse, both of which received the Edmunds.com Top Rated Vehicle award! Also honored were the Chevrolet Colorado, Camaro, Impala, Silverado 1500, Tahoe, Stingray, and Traverse, which were all recognized at the Most Popular vehicles in their segment by Edmunds.com.

What does that mean? Based on a pool of just 200 vehicles, the Edmunds.com Top Rated Award is considered more exclusive than the Most Popular recognition since it requires each vehicle to be subjected to a standardized test loop and to then be sent to the Edmunds test track for instrumented testing with controlled conditions, eventually receiving a letter grade. Quite differently, the Edmunds.com Most Popular recognition is awarded based on the number of unique visitors that each vehicle's research and inventory pages receive online.
