BAY CITY, MI- The 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 works hard to live up to its status as the toughest, most trustworthy and longest lasting truck on the road. The 1500 is the 'half-ton', model in Chevy's full-size pickup line-up.

There are many options for the Silverado that let you customize to the exterior. Available options range from bedliners and foglamps to stationary toolboxes and tonneau covers. Also a wide range of other accessories are offered that let you personalize your truck.

For the Silverado there are four engine sizes to choose from: 4.3-liter V6, 4.8-liter flex-fuel V8, 5.3-liter flex-fuel V8, and 6.2-liter V8; and two transmissions: a four-speed automatic and a six-speed automatic. Like all Silverados, the 1500 is available in a wide array of bed sizes, wheelbases, drive types and cab sizes, as well as a variety of trim levels. The standard StabiliTrak stability control system with proactive roll avoidance includes traction control, trailer sway control and hill hold assist. Available features include USB connectivity, rear back-up camera, Bluetooth connectivity, satellite radio, OnStar and a navigation system.

The Silverado is always up to any task, from taking on daily activities to going out on the open road. It’s the truck built to get you through whatever the day may bring. Whether you want to tailgate with friends or get farther away and explore some uncharted rugged terrain, the Silverado packs the work ethic that doesn’t ease up.
